Closure of Zumba classes

Hey folks, This week will be our last week of Zumba fitness classes by Danza Loca.

Yesterday was our last class at Royal Park in West Perth. Tonight at 6pm will be our last Tuesday night class in South Perth. Birthday Girl Zin Freya has been amazing, and I would like to acknowledge her awesome work, dedication and efforts. We wish her the best in all things.

Friday 9.30am at South Perth, will be also be my last class, although popular ZIN Diana Featherstone will be taking over in following weeks, and will honour any class credit from Danza Loca punch-cards already purchased. Diana also has a class Tuesday at 6pm in Como and invites you all to join her there.

We will maintain our internet and Facebook presence at least for now, and you are still welcome to post in our groups and pages.

As for me, I’m being taken in a new direction with Danza Loca now, and simply will not have the time and resources to devote to Zumba Fitness anymore.

I apologise to those of you who will miss our classes and the way we do them. I have been very proud of what we achieved with Zumba since 2009, including running up to122 weekly classes, which brought me a whole new level of growth, support and things for which to be grateful.

As we close this chapter in Danza Loca’s 20 year history however, I am truly excited for the things we have to come, so I hope you’ll stay in touch through our social dancing side of the business, “Salsa with Danza Loca”.

As I mentioned, MY last Zumba class will also be this Friday, and I’d love to see you all one last time.

Cockburn class closure

Hey zumberas! Classes in Cockburn Youth Centre on Thursday evenings are no longer running at this time.

We apologise to those affected and invite those students to join us at Canning Vale or Bluegum (see the class page for more details)

We will also be opening Melville evening classes from August 9th.

Salsa and ZUMBA® Fitness update

Hola Folks!

Simon from Danza Loca here with End of Financial Year” updates for Salsa and ZUMBA® Fitness:

1) First we need to announce price increases (Salsa Classes only) effective from July 1st, 2012.

(i) Regular classes (Salsa, Bachata and Coolmoves) increase to $23 per class

(ii) Saturday workshops (2hrs) will increase to $30 per workshop.

(iii) The price for 2 classes in 1 night will increase to $35 (save $11)

(iv) Student concession will increase to $18 per class

(v) 5 lesson packs will cost $90. You may capitalize on the current price of $75 by purchasing lesson packs before June 30th, either at classes or at our online store

2) Danza Loca ZUMBA® classes in Warwick are MOVING from July 1st!

i) Monday nights at 7.30 will be held at BALGA Community Ctr (81 Camberwell Rd, Balga)

ii) Tuesday Nights at 7.30 will be at NORTH BEACH Comm. Ctr (20 Castle St, North Beach)

iii) Wednesday nights at 7pm will continue at VASTO CLUB (1 Vasto Place, Balcatta)

iv) Thursdays will start at the NEW TIME of 6pm at HAMERSLEY Rec. Ctr ( Belvedere Rd, Hamersley)

ZUMBA classes at Adrenaline Health and Fitness will be discontinued at this time to make way for Adrenaline’s new programme(s).
We have enjoyed our time at Adrenaline, and leave on good terms wishing all Adrenaline staff and management success in the future. In particular I wish to publicly thank owner Nick Ranelli for the opportunity to work in his venue these last 3 years, and for his professional approach, business acumen and personal integrity in all our dealings together over this period.
