Closure of Zumba classes

Hey folks, This week will be our last week of Zumba fitness classes by Danza Loca.

Yesterday was our last class at Royal Park in West Perth. Tonight at 6pm will be our last Tuesday night class in South Perth. Birthday Girl Zin Freya has been amazing, and I would like to acknowledge her awesome work, dedication and efforts. We wish her the best in all things.

Friday 9.30am at South Perth, will be also be my last class, although popular ZIN Diana Featherstone will be taking over in following weeks, and will honour any class credit from Danza Loca punch-cards already purchased. Diana also has a class Tuesday at 6pm in Como and invites you all to join her there.

We will maintain our internet and Facebook presence at least for now, and you are still welcome to post in our groups and pages.

As for me, I’m being taken in a new direction with Danza Loca now, and simply will not have the time and resources to devote to Zumba Fitness anymore.

I apologise to those of you who will miss our classes and the way we do them. I have been very proud of what we achieved with Zumba since 2009, including running up to122 weekly classes, which brought me a whole new level of growth, support and things for which to be grateful.

As we close this chapter in Danza Loca’s 20 year history however, I am truly excited for the things we have to come, so I hope you’ll stay in touch through our social dancing side of the business, “Salsa with Danza Loca”.

As I mentioned, MY last Zumba class will also be this Friday, and I’d love to see you all one last time.

Hey folks,

All set for a fantastic night?
Good times with good friends at great value!
Party with DJ Don Migi burning up the decks with our percussion crew!
Awesome amateur and professional performances, including National U/21 Ballroom Title holders David Smith & Hannah Mc Lellan!

All the social dance comps are FREE and can be entered on the night.
Male competitors will need to collect a number from the registration desk at the event, and wear it while competing.
Emphasis is on participation and fun, although best timing, technique, partnering skills (leading/following) and Latin flavour will win the day!

Merengue, Bachata, Salsa and Cha Cha all have Mixed couples (randomized partners) events.
Salsa Casino has 2 Couples events where you can enter with your chosen partner (up to INT2, and OPEN)
Pros/teachers may only enter the Open Salsa and the Rueda Triples (team) comp.

NB:
Danza-Rama Tickets are now being sold at the (late/door) price of $150, due to caterer’s requirements.
Due to Danza-Rama there will be NO Saturday Salsa workshops this week at King St Arts Centre.
